Deepak Sharma

Deepak Sharma

BPT, MPT (Ortho), Dry Needling Practitioner, Concussion & Vestibular Therapist

Deepak Sharma is a Clinic Director and Physiotherapist with a BPT and an MPT in Orthopedics. He specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries, particularly spinal conditions, and has advanced training in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, functional dry needling, and clinical gait analysis. Drawing on experience in private practice and super-specialty hospitals, Deepak combines manual therapy with personalized exercise programs to help patients regain function and confidence. His philosophy is simple: listen carefully and show patients how much you care. Outside the clinic, he enjoys traveling and taking long drives with his wife and son, Viaan. A devoted Oilers fan, he also enjoys cricket and racket sports and supports his community through health workshops and educational seminars.

Megha Sharma

Megha Sharma

Director of Operations

Megha Sharma is the Director of Operations and holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from India, earned in 2011. Passionate about pelvic health and continuous learning, she has experience supporting a diverse range of patients through post-injury and post-surgical rehabilitation in clinical and hospital settings. Her treatment approach combines manual therapy with personalized exercise programs to help patients achieve their recovery goals. Outside of work, Megha enjoys traveling, swimming, and exploring different cuisines. She and Deepak are the proud parents of their son, Viaan, and Megha is currently on maternity leave.

Meagan Beauchamp

Meagan Beauchamp

Physiotherapist

Meagan Beauchamp is a Physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation from the University of Calgary and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. A certified Dry Needling Practitioner and Vestibular Therapist, she specializes in post-operative care, return-to-sport rehabilitation, and treating injured rock climbers. Her experience includes serving as the first point of contact for patients of 10 orthopedic surgeons and coaching with the Northern Competitive Climbing Association and the Blocs climbing gym adult program. Meagan takes a collaborative, research-informed approach, creating personalized treatment plans that help patients pursue healthy and active lifestyles. A lifelong athlete, she enjoys rock climbing, parkour, squash, cross-country skiing, and weightlifting.

Kawaldeep Kaur is a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Master of Physiotherapy in Musculoskeletal Care. A certified Dry Needling Practitioner with advanced training in the McKenzie and Mulligan methods, she specializes in musculoskeletal injuries, sports rehabilitation, and pain management. Kawal combines manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and movement re-education to create personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs and goals. Her approach supports recovery and injury prevention, helping patients achieve lasting wellness and an improved quality of life. Outside the clinic, Kawal enjoys pottery, traveling, exploring nature, and playing basketball.

Rubia Pathan

Rubia Pathan is a Physiotherapist, Vestibular Therapist, Pelvic Floor Therapist, and Dry Needling Practitioner with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma. She specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, motor vehicle and workplace injuries, pelvic health, and vestibular conditions. With advanced training in concussion management, pelvic-lumbar manipulation, Mulligan Therapy, dry needling, and vestibular rehabilitation, Rubia uses evidence-based care to create personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s goals and abilities. She is affiliated with Physiotherapy Alberta and serves as an Alberta Clinical Exam Team Member. Outside the clinic, Rubia enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, yoga, biking, and spending time with her family.

Kenrick Tang

Kenrick Tang is a Physiotherapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master of Science in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He specializes in functional mobility, balance training, geriatric and community-based rehabilitation, pain management, and strength and conditioning. Kenrick takes a holistic, patient-centered approach, identifying the root causes of pain and dysfunction while translating clinical knowledge into practical exercises and lifestyle guidance. Originally trained in Hong Kong and now practicing in Edmonton, he brings international experience and cultural sensitivity to patient care. Outside the clinic, Kenrick enjoys photography, hockey, and music.

Emily Hamel is a Physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with First Class Honours from the University of Calgary and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Born and raised in Edmonton, Emily developed her passion for physiotherapy through her academic studies and personal experience receiving life-changing care. She enjoys helping patients return to the activities that matter to them, from walking the dog and exercising at the gym to getting back on the court. Her collaborative approach helps patients feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies. Outside the clinic, Emily enjoys spending time with friends, playing volleyball, trying new restaurants, and making the most of warm weather through water sports, river floats, and sunshine.

MacKenzie-Lynn Desjardins

MacKenzie-Lynn Desjardins is a registered Physiotherapist with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics with a minor in Psychology from UBC Okanagan. Raised on a farm in rural Alberta, she is passionate about making quality healthcare accessible, particularly in communities with limited resources. MacKenzie works across general physiotherapy and women’s health, treating joint and muscle pain, sports injuries, post-surgical conditions, mobility concerns, and pelvic floor conditions while supporting strength and conditioning. Through collaborative, patient-centered care, she helps people feel strong, capable, and confident as they return to the activities that matter most. Outside the clinic, MacKenzie enjoys life with her one-year-old and spending time outdoors.

Bertha Dzenzi is a Registered Massage Therapist with more than 15 years of clinical experience providing therapeutic, results-driven care. She specializes in pain management, rehabilitation support, and improving functional mobility through deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, Swedish massage, and cupping therapy. Bertha works collaboratively with physiotherapists and chiropractors to provide coordinated treatment tailored to each patient’s needs. With an emphasis on thorough assessment and measurable outcomes, she is committed to helping patients reduce pain and return to optimal function safely and effectively.

Dr. Khadija Malik is a Chiropractor and graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, with undergraduate studies completed at the University of Alberta. She provides evidence-based, personalized care focused on restoring function and supporting long-term wellness. Her approach combines gentle adjustments, targeted soft tissue treatments, and rehabilitative exercises that empower patients to participate actively in their recovery. Dr. Malik specializes in myofascial release, Active Release Techniques, the Graston Technique, Activator adjustments, corrective exercise, and holistic spine and musculoskeletal care.
