Harshbir completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in December 2020. He completed his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Alberta in 2015, where he also completed a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in history and classics in 2017. He is incredibly passionate about getting to know others and helping them move better and get active. He has more than ten years of experience working in adapted physical activity with kids and teens living with disabilities, having started volunteering at the Steadward Centre for Personal and Physical Achievement in high school and eventually working there as an adapted physical activity instructor.
Harshbir has worked with several diverse patient populations during his studies, including outpatient orthopedics, WCB, motor vehicle accidents, geriatrics, pediatrics, stroke, and brain injury. During his Physiotherapy training, he has worked in private practice, rural settings, and hospitals, including a stint in the COVID unit and ICU at the Royal Alexandra hospital. Harshbir has a passion for lifelong learning and constantly strives to master new skills and apply them to better serve his patients.
Outside of work, Harshbir has visited over 20 countries and enjoys trail running, cross country skiing, cooking, and learning musical instruments from around the world.
