As a Physiotherapist, she is committed to excellence and a high standard of care through the collaborative approach she take with her patients. She use innovative techniques and personalize her patient treatment plans. Her practice today is founded on a strong research focus and application of that in the clinical setting. For the past 5 years she has worked with both the Central Alberta Orthopedics and the Brent Sutter Sports Medicine clinic in Red Deer, Alberta. While there she worked with 10 orthopedic surgeons and was often the first point of contact for patients. Her focus was on post operative care and returning patients to their sports. In the most recent years, her professional path has led her to working closely with rock climbers. She had the opportunity to coach for both the Northern Competitive Climbing Association which is a team of youth athletes and for the Blocs climbing gym adult program.  Her work with these groups has increased her fondness for the sport as a whole and increased her experience for working with the injured climber.

She grew up doing competitive cross country running, biathlon and rock climbing. She also enjoys staying active and engaged in a number of different sports including parkour, squash, cross country skiing, and weightlifting to name only a few. Her continuous involvement in these demanding hobbies has deepened her respect for the body’s ability and has made her truly grateful for her health. In turn, Meagan’s mission is to share knowledge and care with others in their pursuit of a healthy and productive lifestyle.
